: 12th Workers' Voice Breakfast

New light on sustainable Corporate Governance

The Hans Böckler Foundation warmly invites you to its upcoming Workers’ Voice Conference titled “New Light on Sustainable Corporate Governance”, taking place on 19–20 March 2024 at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union, Rue Montoyer 47, 1000 Brussels.

Workers’ participation in companies is a cornerstone of a democratic economy and a fair world of work. Yet, we continue to see that workers’ rights are increasingly under pressure and often undermined in practice. Strengthening participation in multinational companies therefore requires renewed progress at the European level.

In light of the upcoming European elections in June 2024, this conference will focus on putting workers’ participation back on the social policy agenda — and on integrating it more firmly into European company policy and law. Together with practitioners and trade union representatives, we will explore the future of workers’ participation and sustainable corporate governance, and present concrete tools to highlight the importance of the elections from a workers’ perspective.
